Tecar Therapy by WinForm
It’s the term coined to define the application of an energetic transmission system in radio-frequency, applied to the human body as a curative method, which controls and quantifies the quality and quantity of the energy stored from the body.
We re-designe Tecar treatment giving the operator the possibility to quantify, control and visualize the energy absorbed by the body in the different anatomical layers, konwing in real time the value of the patient's homeostasis.
Tecar is therefore a medical device that uses energy applied to therapeutic processes registered.
Introduction: In order too obtain these conditions with a physical principle of endogenous radiofrequency we have to change the main actor, the human body, so that the principle is suitable in real-time and meets the clinical and biological processes of the organism.
How does a radio frequency (RF) work?
It’s a very simple capacitor formed by a generator, a handpiece, a plate and the human body. All these elements operate in the moment in which the circuits are closed, creating an electric differential that will generate energy and will create a movement of charges equal to the number of pulses that the generator emits.
The electrical differential is measured as a voltage generator. The human body is an armor of the second kind and has the functions of conductor with resistances which can be superficial and deep.
All this explains why are interested all those tissues that are interposed between the active electrode and the counter electrode, in fact forcing us to consider not only the skin impedance, but the impedances that form inside the body in the different tissues crossed by the energy. Therefore the unit of measurement can not be only the voltage, but necessarily the electrical conduction with all the parameters of resistance superficial and deep.
Example: it is as if we were on a means of locomotion where the tension is the structure (highway), the conductions/ions are the number of cars that move, R (resistance) are the restrictions on the number of lanes. Impressing a high speed, a high number of charges accumulate around the resistances, with a reduction of the resistances in a short time, restoring the number of lanes.
This will cause the ions (auto) will move quickly. The greater the speed of displacement will be, the greater will be the thermal effect. Identical is the thermal effect which is accumulated by the resistance.
. If the physical principle, namely the generator, is finally able to control both the voltage, the current and the resistance we will be able to control the thermal effect that does not carry a healing action, but may be, if losing control, a contraindication.
All this eventually lead to the possibility to quantify the energy absorbed in Joules per cm2, making the operator able to quantify the suitable energetic dosage to be applied to the care required, with the selectivity typical of the emission frequency, allowing to protocol therapy no longer subjectively, but objectively.
This allows two fundamental factors:
- A more effectiveness, given by the optimal energy dose;
- Less contraindications and certainty of result, eliminating the energetic overdosesi.
This technology creates an epochal change by putting different parameters on the use and application of physical principles of radiofrequency applied to the body for a therapeutic process.
The use high-frequency emission in electric field for medical purposes has many advantages:
- moving of charges with relative alignment of polarities
- it's generated a significant widespread heating on deep tissues by the shifting of electrolyte charges
The therapeutic effect generated by diathermy is related to the increasing of blood flow within the tissues (active hyperemia) induced by the deep heating.
"Active hyperemia" is an increasing of blood afflux in the microcirculation, due to the expansion of the arteriolar wall, venules relaxation and to the failure of the precapillary sphincters, that releases the blood in capillaries physiologically closed.
The degree of contraction of precapillary sphincters, and therefore the flow of blood through the capillary bed, depends on the concentration of vasoactive local metabolites, on the reduction in PO2 and on the increasing of temperature. The capillaries that supply each area of a tissue or of an organ are mutually interconnected; so each factor that can determine an increasing of blood flow at a given part of an area will be accompanied by an increasing in the flow across the whole area.
The electrical conductivity depends on the temperature and it's function of the presence of ionizable substances, capable of conducting electricity.
In conclusion, Tecar diathermic systems are applied on those tissues that have to be regenerated through a shifting of the charges and an array of polarity, using the thermal effect induced. The tissues crossed modify themselves and act as a condenser.
