Arnilin Gel

Contains Mountain Arnica, Calendula officinalis, Devil's Claw

It is a gel product based on vegetable substances to be used in conjunction with medical devices for diathermy and transdermal delivery to improve the smoothness and the conductivity during the treatment. Its formulation makes it suitable for a topical use, non-rinse gel as a preparatory or adjuvant in the therapeutic treatment.

Use

Before the application to the skin, as good standard, we proceed to the cleaning and degreasing of the skin. Once cleaned the skin, we apply a fair amount of gel on the affected area and, therefore, we proceed to spread as usual, secundum art, until its complete absorption. The product is suitable to be used with medical devices for diathermy and transdermal delivery. Apply a dose of gel on the skin before the execution of treatment with a medical device. The product is also suitable for a topical use, non-rinse gel as treatment preparatory. In this case it is sufficient to apply a dose of gel on the skin and massage until its complete absorption.

Mountain Arnica

It is a plant of the Asteraceae family. The name derives, according to some scholars, from the Greek word arnakis (lambskin), referring to the delicate texture of its leaves. Used since ancient times in herbal medicine formulations, to mountain arnica are attributed soothing and anti-ecchymosis properties.

 

Calendula Officinalis

It is a herbaceous plant with pulpy and branched trunk. The leaves are oblong, of a bright green, sessile and irregular margin. The origin seems to derive from Roman Calendae because of the anniversary month of flowering. Used since ancient times, to this plant are attributed soothing, softening and anti-inflammatory properties.

 

Harpagophytum Procumbers

Commonly called devil's claw is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Pedaliacee family. The flowers are red - violets and fruits look like "hooks," hence the common name. Of the plant are used, however, only the roots. Used since ancient times are attributed to this plant anti-inflammatory and soothing properties

Classification

According to Directive 93/42/CEE and s.m.i. must be classified as a medical device in the first class of risk (Rule 1). Non-sterile device for external use. Device that does not contain medicinal substances nor elements of animal origin. Device that does not contain latex

Contraindications

Do not use in pregnant and lactating women . Do not use on children under the age of 36 months. Do not perform treatments on ocular region. Do not perform treatments in presence of skin lesions. Do not ingest. The product was tested for skin irritation, sensitization and cytotoxicity at the Microbiology laboratories of University of Ferrara and found to comply with the European regulations. In some susceptible individuals, in any case, the presence of some ingredients may be a contraindication to the use of the product. The mountain arnica can cause the onset of contact dermatitis in sensitive or predisposed individuals. Boswellia Serrata may cause the occurrence of minor skin irritations. The presence of Calendula officinalis and chamomille can give rise to allergic reactions in susceptible individuals. The presence of Harpagophytum makes contraindicated in subjects predisposed/suffering from peptic ulcer.

General Warnings

Use the gel only for its intended use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons. Keep away from sources of heat. Close the container tightly after use. Do not use the gel after the expiry date printed on the packaging and, where appropriate, monitor any side effects that may arise. For external use only. Eyes: In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, contact your doctor. Skin: If skin becomes irritated wash thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. Ingestion: Accidental ingestion usually is not dangerous, but if complications arise, call a doctor.

Istruction for disposal

The gel is water soluble and does not constitute a source of pollution for the environment. The container must be disposed with the separate collection of rubbish.
